Park in the designated Holo Holo Charters parking lot which is located south of the Port Allen Marina Center.

For tour reconfirmation, call the Holo Holo Charters office at least 24 hours before your tour at 808-335-0815.

It’s possible, especially in the winter months, that your tour could be modified due to rough conditions on the Na Pali Coast. If so, guests have three options.

  • Cancel the tour and receive a refund.
  • Reschedule a tour for a later date.
  • Go on the modified cruise where the boat stays on the south side of Kauai (and does not go to the Na Pali Coast). This is often called the Kipu Kai Cruise because the highlight of a modified cruise is a distant view of Kipu Kai Beach. Though a nice cruise, it doesn't compare to the Na Pali Coast. Schedule your tour early in your visit to Kauai so that you can reschedule for a later date in the event of a modification.

The catamaran, which was built specifically for Na Pali Coast boat tours, boasts spacious decks, comfortable seating and ample shade, ensuring everyone can find their ideal spot to enjoy the ride and soak in the views. Though no Na Pali Coast boat tour is without its bumps, a catamaran may be the best choice for a smoother ride.

Inside the cabin. The trip to the Na Pali Coast is a sprint and can be somewhat rough. Guests have the option of sitting inside the cabin or hanging out at the front, sides or back of the boat.

Waterproof Backpack for Boat Tour

We brought along our handy Kauai Surf Co. 20L Lumahai Series Waterproof Backpack to keep our things absolutely dry.
